Today, the official MCR accounts on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and the Official My Chemical Romance Website www.mychemicalromance.com have posted a 30 second video included a flag waving with a new logo and the piano section of Welcome To The Black Parade (the unofficial version) is playing in the background. At the end, it mentions the date 9/23 (or 23/09 for anyone who writes it like that like myself). What do you think is going on? |

Okay, here's the spiel (wow! it's really spelled like that!?),
My Chemical Romance is my favorite band. Liked them since Revenge days, but developed a new appreciation for them last year (2015) when I FINALLY bought Black Parade and especially, after seeing the "Vampires will Never Hurt You" video and getting into Bullets, then Danger Days...and so on. Really like the music, the positive and meaningful lyrics, and the goodwill the former members have shown to us (their fans) and anyone in need of help.
I got to see Frank (as Frnkiero and the Cellabration) and it was my first ever celebrity meeting and it was sooo awesome!!! I hope to meet the rest some day, but it will probably be separately and not right away.
Been a fan of the band now for almost a year, and have come to love their following, or the "Rmy" just as much. You all are great, and I'm happy to be here!!! -M

No idea...but I can't wait to find out! I'm NOT holding my breath for a rejoin, but if it happens...well, I'm kinda scared too, because it will be so freaking bonkers! aye! and/but what if I can't buy tickets in time?? okay, okay, NO not getting back together, IMO. (but preparing for "the apocalypse" anyway...WAY! lol)

I agree, I'm not gonna be like super disappointed if they dont have a reunion tour or something, but I will say that I really dont think they would have like designed a new logo and done all this hype and everything if it is just like some new vinyls or something

well, did you folks just see the newest tweet? It's JUST a re-release. I...to be fair to MCROfficial, this was very clever...but it may just have been a little irresponsible at the same time. IF kids REALLY had their hopes up, which it's apparent that many did, yes, I think this announcement could have been made MUCH sooner.

haha yeah i was just about to post this. honestly im glad they posted that cuz it was making me really anxious idk how i would have been until the twenty third. but now everyones getting really mad at them even though this was obviously a warner bros thing and im anxious again. im stepping away for a bit.

I was surprisingly NOT anxious...probably because I've been talking folks down for almost a year now, not to get there hopes up. Did you ever finish Not the Life it Seems, G?? This REALLY helped me. I fully believe it wouldnt be healthy for them to get back together, and plus, all of Frank's denials that they are getting back together. The fact that they aren't, is kindof a relief...because if they did, well then that would make my favorite celebrity a liar, and that would suck! ALTHOUGH...I DO COMPLETELY understand that we can change our minds. I've done it, but I also believe it's best to strive for a code of honesty and consistency. I still don't know whether this was just a Warner bros thing or whether the band was involved...it really doesn't matter. I'm glad they just said something before it got too late. yeah, sorry you're anxious G! *hugs |

vacantalleyways oh yeah i finished that. i wasnt anxious for myself, i was just sonworried cuz everyone was so excited and we didnt know if they were going on tour again (so i guess my anxiety was justified) and then today cuz everyone was being so mean to the guys even though it was a Warner thing and then Stella tried to defend them and people were being mean in return and nust overall it was very negative on twitter today. dont worry i mean it would have been nice to see them live but im over it.

were folks mean to the band members? like were they commenting directly on their pages too? I didn't look at everything (too much madness, for sure!) I'll repeat that, too much madness, for sure! As I said, I was proud of the notice put up today. I would have thought folks would have been more grateful for that...ahh, it's just...yeah. ok, and I'm so over this now! *rolls eyes

vacantalleyways I think I've only seen one or two mean comments aimed at the band but apart from that, this community is mainly about kindness so there was more spread about not asking about it that asking about it. I mean there were the accounts spamming things in the band's directions but those are just the fans that were a bit confused and upset that their imagination had just been shattered. I think it was just a bit of a panic reaction. The mean tweets have calmed down (well at least the ones sent the band's way). I'm still surprised that Warner Bros didn't think that this is the response that they would get... Unless it was planned all along for more attention.
