Okay, here's the spiel (wow! it's really spelled like that!?),
My Chemical Romance is my favorite band. Liked them since Revenge days, but developed a new appreciation for them last year (2015) when I FINALLY bought Black Parade and especially, after seeing the "Vampires will Never Hurt You" video and getting into Bullets, then Danger Days...and so on. Really like the music, the positive and meaningful lyrics, and the goodwill the former members have shown to us (their fans) and anyone in need of help.
I got to see Frank (as Frnkiero and the Cellabration) and it was my first ever celebrity meeting and it was sooo awesome!!! I hope to meet the rest some day, but it will probably be separately and not right away.
Been a fan of the band now for almost a year, and have come to love their following, or the "Rmy" just as much. You all are great, and I'm happy to be here!!! -M

Ok, so comments; changed schools (omgsh, sorry, but this brings to mind the Pencey Prep song "maybe I'm just strange cuz I don't change schools" lol <3). Yes, changing schools makes one discover things about ourselves. I was changing schools about the time that MCR was coming together with Bullets, and as I mentioned in my story, that album reminds me of the experiences and the friends I made at that new school. It's interesting that you mention last summer. Although you got into MyChem (hehe, I've actually said badass in talking about that title too! ), you got into them later, well, last summer was meaningful for me too. Yay for liking RHCP!!! And well we all on here (i think, now anyway) are fans of Green Day, to some extent. But it's funny how these are considered "old classics" to you folks hehe Well, you certainly crammed all of MyChem into, well that weekend I guess. I had years to fully appreciate Revenge, but I guess I crammed in the rest. Anyway, yeah, I listened to Not Okay and Helena a lot exclusively in the beginning as well (again, can be read on MY story ) Woah! You really didn't know about the breakup!!! !!! When I "rediscovered" them, that was like the first thing I found...well, it's because I was hoping to see them in a concert finally. Sadly, I never would! Okay, not to criticize here but... "especially how it ended with Gerard screaming “Until the end of every–“. that's not how it ends. "and as we're falling down, and as we're touching hands, and in this pool of blood, I'll see your eyes, I'll meet your eyes. I mean this, forever!!!" So, contrarily, I find it has a very nice ending. But, I suppose musically, it does leave one hanging. And I LOVED that connection from Bullets to Revenge. I think we share this strong love for these earlier albums. AND... we also have similar thoughts with Danger Days! oh wait! I skipped BP! Oh, but the same thing applies. I was getting into the face-paced songs first. I mean, that's how I perceived MCR, (with Revenge album being my cardio playlist! ) omgsh! how could you skip Mama and Sleep!!! j/k (I'll admit, I skipped Disenchanted too). No, I can honestly understand Mama. I have conflicting feelings on it, BUT it is musically a masterpiece! And I'm glad I read reviews and or comments about this album because others were mentioning Mama a lot. I discovered Sleep myself though. Did I say already that I think it has a Linkin Park vibe?? Funny how these are scary to you. Like I said, I can understand it, but I find Mama whimsy, and Sleep actually put me to sleep once, it's so relaxing to me. hehe I think the last think I want to say is that well, idk. The Only Hope for Me was one of my first favorites actually (and now, I really wonder if it's because I heard it in Transformers 3. Is it really in there? I hope to find out this weekend! ). Summertime and The Kids of Yesterday were too sentimental for me to like listen too much, so in a way we have that in common, but you probably had less feeling and I had too much feeling. hehe (on this note, I was hesitant with Early Sunsets of Monroeville...until I heard the strings version. Omgsh, now it's a favorite!!! -with the other 20some faves, am i right? haha because they are all so good!) ok, last thing, -> “Heroes always get remembered, but you know legends never die.” – Panic! At The Disco. I JUST yesterday discovered where this came from and got all excited because I knew you wrote this. ok, The End (haha get it? )

You're not criticizing at all about the Demolition Lovers thing. I just got confused because I don't usually listen to the song that much and I thought Gerard sang "Until the end of every-" instead of "I mean this, forever-" at the end. I guess it was because the song 'ends' at that point with "until the end of every-" where the music stops and the first time I listened to it and I thought that's where the song ended, but then the song went on and I was like "oh, there's more? interesting" haha.
As for the 'classics' thing, I just call it classics because they are pretty popular and they made their most popular songs when I was stil a little baby '-' (that's more for Green Day but you get the memo). And they started making music before mcr hehe, but yeah that just shows how young I am I guess.
As for the P!ATD quote, I felt like that was appropriate to add, even though the context on Emperor's New Clothes is completely different. Ever since I looked up the lyrics I fell in love with that quote and I think it translates to a lot of icons in real life (*cough* like mcr *cough*)
Well, come one, come all, to this (not so) tragic affair... Haha anyway, thanks for the observations M!
