Okay, here's the spiel (wow! it's really spelled like that!?),
My Chemical Romance is my favorite band. Liked them since Revenge days, but developed a new appreciation for them last year (2015) when I FINALLY bought Black Parade and especially, after seeing the "Vampires will Never Hurt You" video and getting into Bullets, then Danger Days...and so on. Really like the music, the positive and meaningful lyrics, and the goodwill the former members have shown to us (their fans) and anyone in need of help.
I got to see Frank (as Frnkiero and the Cellabration) and it was my first ever celebrity meeting and it was sooo awesome!!! I hope to meet the rest some day, but it will probably be separately and not right away.
Been a fan of the band now for almost a year, and have come to love their following, or the "Rmy" just as much. You all are great, and I'm happy to be here!!! -M

Haven't made a thread in awhile, but that's not why I am here. Am I the only one who realized MCR was in this movie years later with The Only Hope for Me??? I cannot believe, as someone who used to know of MCR music, didn't pick this out when I saw the movie...or perhaps I did but just didn't give it a second thought. To think, I might have been able to see them, just once before the breakup!!! Now I am a little depressed for 22nd. Ok, j/k, that would be silly in my opinion, but wow! Now hey, maybe I'll watch this movie on 22nd! Hehe anyone else have this happen? Did MCR have songs in any other movies? Yeah, seriously, cuz I thought they didn't do movies!!  |

Well, as a side note, I saw an interview they did for the Grand Turismo 5 game, since Planetary (GO!) was featured in the game. Aside from that I don't remember any movies that feature mcr... and I never watched any of the Transformers movies.

I haven't seen any Transformers movies. Did they actually play it during the movie or is it just on the soundtrack?
As for other movies, their cover of Desolation Row is in Watchmen but that's more well-known than the Transformers thing. They also had a song in House of Wax...I think it was something from Revenge?

I watched Teen Wolf years ago...so I probably saw that episode before I even knew MCR. Now I want to go watch it again just to find DESTROYA lol. I'm going to go check out that list.

It says they were in Bruce Almighty too if you look under Music Department...and an episode of SNL as musical guests back in 2006. I want to find that episode now!

The SNL was with Cancer and...., I heard of this last year....the teen wolf, omgsh, I think I saw once on vacation (where there was cable access). But of couse, there are the 80s movies, that's why I stopped to check the show. But yeah, should find it and share it with someone here who's recently become obsessed with Destroya. Hehe (oh yeah, and we watched together the Jimmy Fallon version, well he found it actually  hehe he's seeing Gerard and is like "heh! He has red hair now!" Oh! Bruce Almighty?? What song? I did see that movie. Maybe ill rent it cuz i didnt think it was worthy of a second viewing. Idk, just wasnt all i expected and hoped for. hmm thanks for that list. I heard about Dead!, but now I want to get Burnout3, I think I've seen one of these games. I confuse it with another one though. |

Where else is MCR? Na Na Na is in quite a bit. It's in the Sims 3 Late Night expansion pack. According to Alice, it was on a TV show she has watched before because that's where she recognised it from when I sang it ones.

Apparently it's on the indie station. I'm gonna have to look for it next time! Apparently Patrick Stump's The City is in Showtime. Edit: Omg I just rewatched the Late Night trailer and it's in that too! I remember watching it like four years ago, but I didn't realize it was MCR cuz I hadn't listened to them yet. I'm just so happy right now.  |

OMG!!! I just realized I had watched this trailer when it came out but I didn't recognize the song nor did I look it up. I feel sooooo sad now ;-;
I absolutely love the Sims, next time I play The Sims 3 (I own all expansions expect Island Paradise) I'll only listen to Indie radio haha. I just used to put on that station that came with University Life so... Man I really miss the Sims '-'

I donot (hate that I cannot write contractions with my Tablet, so weird! Anyway) do not make a habit of "pyramid quoting" as I have (oh man, another contraction, another mistake in the quote. Lol trailor is now triler. Look, see?) i have heard it called this...but i think it is easier for you to read...or i could just not quote. Ok, my point? Oh right!.... that "someone" i mentioned, was you Charlotte. I either forgot or ...well, let us just say I forgot. I hope you find where it is in the movie (have you checked through the credits?) cuz i would watch it again for the song. As for Transformers 3, i will not be watching tomorrow, but maybe i can on wednesday or will i watch the BPID? Idk. Gonna aim for the shirt thing tomorrow, but not sure what else yet. (did i mention the shirt thing here? Im sure i did! I think?) Maybe can share the photo (it is a different shirt than the ones on my blog post, "Revenger"). |
